“This is a place steeped in history, perfectly situated in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Prés, where the atmosphere feels more like a private home than a hotel. Review summary
Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Hotel D'Angleterre is praised for its charming, classic Parisian ambiance and a prime location in Saint-Germain, within walking distance of the Louvre and Notre Dame. Guests consistently highlight the spacious and well-appointed rooms, some overlooking a lovely leafy courtyard. The breakfast is appreciated, and some guests have noted the absence of blackout curtains in certain rooms; however, most rooms offer effective solutions for sleeping in. Extras, such as bottled water and French bathroom products, add to the experience.

the hotel has a leafy garden that looked very inviting. the staff was pleasant and always available. i received a room upgrade, it was a nice surprise!
the hotel lacked air conditioning during the heat. the absence of ac made walking less appealing and more reliant on rides. the hotel is becoming shabby and requires a refit. no washcloths were in my room, i found that odd.
